“Positively Pink” Tybee Island raises money for Breast Cancer
On Sunday, November 8th 2009 Tybee Island and its residents host the annual event to raise funds for Breast Cancer. Marilyn Monroe's on Tybee Island will be hosted the event.
2009 annual "Tybee Tatas" was a huge event. Tybee Island, Georgia really went all out putting the FUN in FUNd raiser. Excluding cancers of the skin, breast cancer is the most common diagnosed cancer among women in the United States. Tybee Island has really stepped up this year in the fight for the cure for breast cancer.
Marilyn Monroe's http://marlinmonroessurfsidegrill.com/ hosted this years event. The celebration included an Oyster Roast, raffles, silent auctions and live music. The main contest of the event was the "Bad Boyz in Bras Contest". You are asking yourself what is that right? "Bad Boyz in Bras": Men wear the most elaborate Brazere in hopes of raising the most money for the fight against Breast Cancer. Now that is a prime example of how we have fun on Tybee. You could not help to walk around with a smile on your face, either from the great food, excellent music or the antics of the competiveness of men with bras.
