Tybee is the closest beach to Atlanta and several other Southern cities. We're only four hours from Atlanta, two hours from Macon, 18 miles from historic Savannah and 28 miles from the nearest international airport, so a retreat to Tybee means you spend more time where you want to be and less time getting there. The island is also convenient to several coastal Georgia and South Carolina golf courses for those wishing to conduct a little business while working on that handicap.
