The perfect blend of old and new!   This fabulous 5 bedroom, 3 1.2 bath home has easy beach access with a community beach crossover and fabulous views. Surrounded by a private beach neighborhood, you will never feel crowded in this amazing getaway.  The landscaping is tropical with nice front, side and back yards with tropical flowers, palm trees blowing in the breeze.

• 8 Sandalwood overlooks the Atlantic Ocean with wraparound porches on 3 sides of the home and multiple levels. You may access the beach easily from private community crossovers just steps from your front door.  Wonderful for bicycling access, as well.
•  This beachfront home has an inverted floor plan with the living level on the top of the home.
• Relax in a spacious living room directly oceanfront with wood burning fireplace. A large flat screen television is in the living area (48 inch) and HD cable
•  There is an adorable dinette table in the kitchen area plus retro bar stools for dine on counter top dining and visiting.  The gorgeous custom dining table for 8 in the formal dining room has adjoining additional seating at the window seat.
• You may access the patio from the kitchen area or from the living and dining rooms.
• Also on the top level of this home is a queen bedroom with twin bed.  This bedroom accesses the porch and you can enjoy an amazing Tybee sunrise from your bedroom.
• On the top level of this home is a bedroom with full (double) bed (sleeps 2).
• On this level of the home are a full bath with standup shower and a half bath.
• The middle level of this fabulous home has a wraparound porch on 3 sides.  Step out of the main level porch and walk down the front stairs to stroll down the private beach walkway onto the beach for early morning sunrises and all day beach trips.
• On the middle/first level of the home is the king master suite. The luxurious claw foot tub in private in the master suite has views out the windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  The spacious walk in shower is separate from the tub. Double master vanity and walk in closet with coffee maker makes the retreat more complete. The king master suite has a sitting room which also features a queen sleeper if you have a child who is afraid to be in a separate room on the first night of vacation.
• The second bedroom on the middle level has great ocean views, with a luxurious King bed and just steps to a full bath with separate shower.
• There is a large laundry room on this level with full size washer and dryer.
• The kids room has wonderful views and is an open area near the front door of the home between the hallway that accesses the king master and the hallway and leading to the king bedroom. This open room has living area for Guests and a pull down Murphy Bed (larger than queen).  This room is not private.
• The full bath is easily accessible by all and immediately outside of King guestroom bedroom.
• The gourmet kitchen features double oven, microwave, 6 burner gas cook top, and all appliances for easy entertaining. There is a dine on granite counter top for 3 and a desk that doubles as additional seating. The pass through allows those gathered in the kitchen to look straight out towards the Atlantic Ocean with ships from around the world coming into the Savannah River. Small flat screen television, as well. The views of ocean are wonderful from the kitchen window.
