Critz Tybee Run Festival

Run for a great cause! This popular annual run on Tybee offers a 10K, half Marathon, 2.8 Mile Beach Run or 1-mile fun run and all proceeds go to the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, which has been serving communities in the area since 1855. More info here.

Irish Heritage Celebration & Parade

Put on your best green clothes and accessories and come join in the activities at the Irish Heritage Celebration & Parade held every March on Tybee. Cheer on local Irish marchers, listen to bagpipers and watch enjoy the festive parade trail down Tybee Island's Main Street.

Tybee Turtle Trot

In honor of the sea turtles & the start of their nesting season, the Tybee Island Marine Science Center hosts this 5k beach run as a fundraiser for their sea turtle conservation goals. Every year they have a ceremonial release of a sea turtle back into the Atlantic Ocean.

Tybee Wine Festival

Set in special venues across the island, experience international wines, fine food, and coastal cuisine. Going for over a decade, the Tybee Wine Festival is combined with live musical performances and all the typical wining & dining you'd expect from an annual wine festival. It is also the perfect excuse to take a romantic getaway with that special someone. NOTE: Sometimes, the festival falls at the beginning of May.

SCAD Sand & Art Festival
