"18th St Upper" is popularly known as "The Cottage" and is one of Tybee's most popular vacation rentals. This original Tybee beach cottage was the first vacation home in the Oceanfront Cottage Rentals vacation home collection and is the home that led to the brand "Oceanfront Cottage Rentals." This oceanfront vacation rental is split in between 2 separate units: Upper and Lower. This beach cottage is located just steps from the activities on the south end of Tybee and is situated directly on the Atlantic Ocean. The location has the best of both worlds. It's on the quiet end of the Street, perfect for enjoying the home and its large deck/porch but within a short walk to all the fun restaurants, shops, the pier and pavilion, and nightlife. A large oceanfront sundeck is attached to a covered porch allowing guests to enjoy fun in the sun or retreat to the shade while overlooking the southern tip of Tybee.
This features two king bedrooms. Each bedroom has an attached full bathroom. The primary king bedroom has an in-room Jacuzzi tub.
The home's living area has expansive glass windows to allow views in 2 directions.
The galley-style kitchen has an acrylic cooktop, oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave, two dishwashers, and all the amenities that one would wish for in a kitchen.
This cottage has upgraded amenities such as newly installed gas logs making this home intimate and comfortable year-round.
A gas grill is located on the upper-level sun deck.
There is a gated entrance to this home, keeping children and pets within the safety of your reach.
#1 18th Street has a lower level that is rented separately (or together) based on availability. Each has a separate gated entrance, and there is no interior stairwell. Both levels have separate decks.
Parking for two vehicles only. (Two side by side spots right outside of the property.)

This property is in an excellent location. It’s steps from the beach, a corner lot, and only a few blocks from restaurants/shops. It also was clean and communication with property management was great. I only gave 3 stars for the fact that the listing was inaccurate and said sleeps 6 with a sleeper sofa, which we needed since my older kids didn’t want to sleep together. I asked about it and was told they changed the sofa, and they were nice to drop off an air mattress for us. Overall, our family trip to Tybee was a great experience, and will come visit again!!

The Cottage is our go to place for our annual vacation stay. It's an excellent location, convenient to so much within walking distance. It's well equipped. Light, bright and clean and with comfortable beds. The staff at the office are always super helpful and very responsive to answer any questions we may have had. We highly recommend this little diamond on the island.

We've been vacationing in Tybee Island/Savannah over the holidays for the last seven or so years. We're very familiar with the Island, and what's out there as far as rentals. We were so pleasantly surprised by this place. Very nice updates, beautiful art, very tastefully furnished and just a nice, beachy vibe. We usually stay Mid-Beach, but really found ourselves enjoying the south beach area this cottage is in. Your right on the ocean. The back deck was much larger than the ones in the condos we've been staying at. We loved sitting out there, listening to the surf and watching for the large ships to go by. Big thumbs up for this place, it's our new favorite.

We were blown away by this property, the pictures dont do it justice! Everything was immaculately clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The absolute best part of this property is the location. It is just steps from the beach access and maybe a 2 minute walk to the beach if that. You can see the ocean from the patio but there is a large sand dune that partially obstructs the view, however this takes nothing away from the patio. The property is within easy walking distance from shopping and dining. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend staying here!

This is the perfect place to stay for a beach vacation. The condo was spacious enough for two couples and close enough to shops and restaurants for walking. The sand dunes and foliage offered a lot of privacy, yet you can still sit on the porch and look out over the ocean. We would definitely come back!

An additional fee of $95 for a single pet, and $65 for multiple pets is required. The guest is responsible for the cleaning up and/or removal of all pet excrement. Cats are not permitted. Tybee Island is very pet-friendly but, unfortunately PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE BEACH. We have two great dog parks!
